We make Complimus, so read this as a vendor’s comparison. Every fact about Consentmo GDPR Compliance comes from its own Shopify App Store listing, checked on 3 November 2026. Where the listing is silent we write “Listing does not say”, not “no”. The two apps do different jobs. Consentmo is a consent management platform: a geo-targeted cookie banner with Google Consent Mode v2, cookie scans, data request pages and, on its Plus plan, an EU withdrawal page. Complimus covers four rules on the product page and at checkout: the Omnibus prior price, GPSR, the EU guarantee notice and the withdrawal button. The withdrawal button is the one overlap. Many EU stores run a consent app and Complimus side by side.

Launched 3 May 2019, with 2,030 reviews on the day we checked. The listing describes a banner that detects the visitor's location and shows the right version for GDPR, CCPA, LGPD and PIPEDA, Google-certified Consent Mode v2 and TCF v2.4, an AI cookie scanner with scheduled scans, data request pages with logs, a privacy center and cookie policy on the Max plan, a web accessibility widget and an EU withdrawal page under Directive 2023/2673 on Plus. It names the same fourteen privacy laws as Pandectes, plus ADA, EAA and WCAG. Plans: free, then $10, $37 and $99 a month, each paid plan with a 7-day trial.

GPSR, the guarantee notice and the withdrawal button are free on every plan. Complimus does not provide a cookie banner, GDPR request handling or legal page generation. How to choose
- If you need a cookie banner by region, consent logs or Consent Mode v2, Consentmo does that and Complimus does not.
- If you need the Omnibus prior price, GPSR details or the EU guarantee notice, Complimus does that and the Consentmo listing does not mention them.
- For the withdrawal button, compare the plans: Consentmo lists its EU withdrawal page on Plus ($37 a month); Complimus includes the button, the form and the confirmations on the free plan.
- Most EU stores need both jobs done; the two apps use different theme blocks, so running both is the usual setup.
